Sales Technique
The Sales Techniques Certificate provides students with an understanding of how to effectively leverage various communication techniques and mediums to identify leads, work directly with decision-makers, and close deals. The important sales techniques that students acquire will allow them to build lasting, long-term, and mutually beneficial relationships with clients. These foundational sales techniques will enable students to get a job in sales or marketing or advance in their current careers. This certificate also serves as a gateway into other noncredit and credit programs.
Program Learning Outcomes
Upon successful completion of this program, students should be able to:
- Develop and deliver a series of sales scripts to fit a given sales situation and effectively deliver the scripts.
- Describe and demonstrate techniques for closing sales.
- Describe and demonstrate how to ask for the sale when a potential customer is resistant.
- Develop and deliver scripts for call center or 'inside sales'.
