Sample Contract

The sample housing contract for the 25-26 academic year for RCCD at UCR outlines the terms and conditions for student residency, including lease duration, payment schedule, conduct expectations, and amenities provided. It serves as a binding agreement between the student and the housing provider to ensure a safe, respectful, and well-maintained living environment.

Note: this is a sample and not the actual contract.

Roommate Matching

Once the housing application is verified and eligibility confirmed, potential residents will be entered into UCR’s roommate matching system. This system allows potential residents to select a roommate, be matched with compatible roommates, and determine availability. This system allows residents to:

  • Select a roommate,
  • Be matched with compatible roommates, and
  • Determine unit availability.

Please note that being entered into the UCR system does not guarantee a housing space, as assignments are made on a first-come, first-served basis.

Once you are notified about roommate matching, you will have a limited time to accept your assignment. Failure to do so will result in disqualification from housing.
