Associated Students of Riverside City College
ASRCC is the official governing body that represents and advocates the rights and interests of the RCC student population. ALL RCC students are eligible to participate and enjoy the benefits of membership of ASRCC if they are enrolled in classes and pay their student fees. Benefits include free access to services and events, participation in clubs and organizations, leadership opportunities and help in making the student experience as fulfilling as possible.
ASRCC is represented through the principles of democracy under three branches of governance: Executive, Legislative and Judicial. Fellow student leaders are committed to protecting student rights, ensuring student access to all student government affairs; providing and encouraging students to voice concerns; promoting student involvement and awareness of academic and district related developments that affect student opportunities.
How does this help me?
ASRCC needs to know your ideas, interests, challenges and concerns in order to help advocate and improve student life both personally, and civically. We all encounter roadblocks while attending any college or university. Some are easy to overcome, some are not. Let us know what we can do to make campus life better for you. Let us investigate, talk to the college on your behalf, and hopefully get you a solution – or, at least, an explanation and reason. Watch your student emails for announcements and the ASRCC calendar; come to meetings (schedule posted below) and see what we are all about or visit us for more information. We would love to meet you!
We are located in the Student Government Center located on the 2nd floor of Bradshaw Building above the Cafeteria.
