Riverside City College Hosts Fall 2025 Transfer Fair to Empower Students’ Academic Futures

More than 40 colleges and universities convened on the historic Quad at Riverside City College (RCC) on Thursday, Sept. 25, for the Fall 2025 Transfer Fair—an annual event designed to expand transfer opportunities for RCC students.

Hosted by the RCC Transfer Center in collaboration with the University of California Office of the President, the fair provided students with direct access to representatives from across the UC, CSU, HBCU, private and out-of-state systems. Universities in attendance included Cal Poly Pomona, CSU Fullerton, UC Riverside, UCLA, USC, Stanford University, La Sierra University, Loma Linda University, Redlands University, Chapman University, Pepperdine University, and many more.

“The goal is to increase awareness of transfer pathways while giving students the opportunity to connect directly with university representatives,” said officials from the Transfer Center. “It’s about building student confidence and demystifying the transfer process.”

In addition to speaking with university representatives, students learned about admission requirements, major-specific pathways, financial aid and available transfer programs. Attendees were encouraged to sign in for an opportunity drawing, with more than 120 students participating. One lucky student won an RCC backpack filled with school supplies and snacks.

Following the fair, RCC counselors—including general, special program and part-time counselors—met with university representatives to receive direct updates on admission trends, new transfer resources and major-specific changes. These briefings support RCC’s commitment to up-to-date, student-centered advising.

The Fall Transfer Fair, the larger of RCC’s two annual transfer events, underscores the College’s focus on student access and academic success. The spring event will focus on local universities and individualized transfer planning.

The fair was made possible through campuswide collaboration with departments including Counseling, Cafeteria Services, Facilities and Warehouse Operations.
