About
Al Weyant-Forbes, DSW, serves as the Extended Opportunity Programs and Services (EOPS) Specialist and Counselor at Riverside City College, where he also co-chairs the LGBTQIA2+ Association for Student Success and Equity (LASSE).
Originally from Central New York, Al brings a multidisciplinary background in psychology, sociology, and higher education leadership to his equity-driven work in student support. He earned his Doctor of Social Work from the University of Southern California in 2024 and has been deeply committed to fostering inclusive and affirming educational environments since relocating to California in 2014.
Outside of his professional roles, Al enjoys spending time with loved ones, exploring nature, and supporting live music and theater.
