Riverside City College Hosts 2025 STEM Fair, Welcoming Students and Showcasing Resources

Riverside City College (RCC) brought innovation and opportunity to the forefront during its 2025 STEM Fair, held on October 16, with more than 100 students in attendance. The annual event highlighted RCC’s commitment to advancing science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) education while connecting students with the tools, hands on learning, clubs, and resources to support their academic and career goals.

The fair featured over 20 student resources, campus programs, and community partners, creating a dynamic environment for students to explore pathways in STEM. Interactive booths offered opportunities to engage directly with faculty, industry representatives, and peers who share a passion for innovation. Students discovered resources ranging from research opportunities and tutoring support to internship connections and transfer pathways to four-year universities.
“This event is more than a showcase of STEM education and programs—it’s a celebration of student potential and the diverse ways STEM transforms lives and communities,” said RCC represenitive, Jessica Vierra. “By bringing together students, faculty, and community partners, we are empowering our future innovators to take the next step in their journeys.”
The STEM Fair also provided a platform for students to learn about career opportunities in high-demand fields, gain exposure to hands-on demonstrations, and build networks that extend beyond the classroom.

RCC’s STEM initiatives align with the college’s mission to prepare students for success in a rapidly changing workforce and to foster inclusivity within STEM fields. Events like the STEM Fair underscore RCC’s role as a leader in creating accessible, equitable pathways for students pursuing science and technology careers.
