Riverside City College (RCC) celebrates a historic achievement as its Stunt team secures a spot in the prestigious Club Stunt Nationals for the first time in school history. This unprecedented milestone marks a significant moment for the team and distinguishes RCC as the only junior college in the nation to achieve this feat.

Ranked fourth in the nation, RCC's Stunt team will compete alongside Division 1 powerhouses like Cal Poly San Luis Obispo, Oklahoma State University, Michigan State University, and Arizona State University. The Club Stunt Nationals, scheduled for April 19th and 20th, will take place at Hope International University in Fullerton, California.

STUNT, recognized as the fastest-growing female sport in the country, focuses on the technical and athletic components of cheer, including partner stunts, pyramids, basket tosses, group jumps, and tumbling. With the removal of crowd-leading elements, STUNT emphasizes skill execution and athleticism, making it an exhilarating sport to play, coach, and watch.

USA Cheer developed STUNT to provide colleges, universities, and high schools with a Title IX-compliant sport, expanding participation opportunities for female athletes with cheerleading backgrounds. The qualification for Club Stunt Nationals is a clear example of the dedication and skill of RCC's Stunt team as they prepare to represent the college on a National stage.
