Riverside City College (RCC) is pleased to announce a new partnership with Bank of America aimed at supporting students through the Career Closet initiative.

Meriel Anderson-McDade, RCC's Employment Placement Coordinator, collaborated with Claudette Anderson, Senior Vice President and Program Manager of Community Banking and Lending at Bank of America, to organize a "Professional Attire Drive" for RCC students.

The drive, running from April 1 to May 15, will take place at several Bank of America locations. Donation boxes adorned with specially designed posters have been set up to collect donations for professional attire, which will directly benefit RCC students by replenishing the Career Closet.

Mrs. Claudette Anderson expressed her enthusiasm for the partnership:

"We (Bank of America) heard about RCC's Career Closet and wanted to do something to help the students."

The initiative reflects Bank of America's commitment to supporting educational opportunities and empowering local communities.

Meriel Anderson-McDade expressed gratitude for Bank of America's support, highlighting Mrs. Anderson's evident passion for supporting community colleges.

"I've established a great partnership with Mrs. Claudette Anderson, and I'm also hoping to explore possible internship opportunities in the future," she added.

RCC looks forward to receiving generous donations from the community and extends its appreciation to Bank of America for its invaluable support.

Stay tuned for updates on the partnership and a follow-up story after the clothing drive concludes.
