The Student Financial Services Office at Riverside City College hosts and participates in a variety of outreach activities. We partner with faculty and staff, the community, K-12 schools and various organizations in order to help promote financial aid awareness. We assist students and families to become more familiar with the various resources available to help reduce the cost of a college education.
FAFSA/Dream Act Application Workshops
FAFSA and Dream Act Application Workshops are held daily in the Welcome Center located in the Dr. Charles A. Kane Student Services Building. Please check with our Financial Aid office for specific times. Student Financial Services staff members are available to assist students and families with completing the FAFSA and Dream Applications. Financial Aid Awareness Week
Financial Aid Awareness Week is a designated week in April that is focused on promoting financial aid awareness to current and prospective students. Student Financial Services staff is available at various events to assist students in completing the FAFSA and Dream applications, as well as provide information regarding the process, deadlines, and required documents to complete their financial aid files. Financial Fitness @ RCC
Financial Fitness @ RCC is designed to give students the tools to become financially responsible and set them off to a good path toward a financially sound future. The workshop series is held during the Fall semester and topics vary from Budgeting and Credit, to Scholarship Search and Application Tips. Check back for an updated Calendar of Workshops.
RCCD Foundation Scholarship Workshops
RCCD Foundation Scholarship Workshops provide students with valuable information regarding RCCD Scholarships including, how to apply for scholarships at RCCD, how to request a recommendation, and help with completing the scholarship application. For times and locations, please check back in the Fall 2018 semester.
Highschool, Classroom, and Community Presentations
Highschool and classroom presentations provide students and parents with general financial aid information. Presentations can be customized to address specific student populations and particular student financial aid programs.
