Extended Opportunity Programs & Services (EOPS) is a student support program implemented and funded by the state of California (as per Title V) to help recruit, retain and assist the academic success of low-income and educationally disadvantaged students by providing them with the tools and resources for achieving a higher education.

C.A.R.E. provides additional assistance for eligible EOP/S students who are head of household parents receiving AFDC/TANF benefits to pursue a college education.
