Monique D. Greene is the Career Center Coordinator and General Counselor/Assistant Professor at Riverside City College. She has worked as a Counselor and Professor in various counseling settings such as: General Counseling, STEM, EOP&s, Transfer, Career and CalWORKs.
Monique earned her bachelor’s degree in Communication: Human Communication from California State University, San Bernardino and her master’s degree in Educational Counseling from the University of Redlands.
Monique enjoys being a mentor/counselor and a valuable resource for a diverse population of students in the higher education setting. She feels that one of her best attributes in being a counselor is the ability to relate to students and understand the different barriers that they may be facing when trying to juggle employment, education, family and many other student responsibilities.
Monique Greene truly believes in lifelong learning, student advocacy and academic excellence. She continually tries to find innovative ideas to keep students engaged and to help guide them through their academic, career and personal goals. Mrs. Greene’s goal is to help each student align their passions, strengths and abilities with an educational or career goal that will lead them to ultimate success and happiness.
Assistant Professor/ Counselor Career Center Coordinator
Rebecca Faircloth has made education her passion. Since 2005 she has had the opportunity to serve at Riverside City College in several different capacities such as the Administrative Assistant to the Vice President and Dean of Student Services, Counseling Clerk for the Counseling and Student Activities Departments, Program Specialist for the Extended Opportunities Program and Services (EOPS) and Cooperative Agencies Resources for Education (CARE) programs, and most currently as the Educational Advisor for the Career Center.
Her studies at California Baptist University garnered her a bachelors degree in Liberal Studies and a masters in Education: Teaching. She went on to receive a second masters in Education: School Counseling: College emphasis from the University of Redlands.
Rebecca delights in helping others realize and work towards their dreams through offering support, assistance, and guidance to students. She firmly believes that with this type of support, and by having a growth mindset, the many challenges students face can be overcome. Encouraging students to persevere and celebrating their achievements are her greatest rewards.
