Information for Graduating Students
Congratulations Class of 2020!!
The 2020 virtual commencement ceremony will take place on Friday, June 12th ONLINE. RCC is utilizing Marching Orders for this virtual ceremony. You will receive a link to the ceremony that you can share with friends and family so they can celebrate your accomplishment with you! Also, you will be able to download your graduate slide (which will include your name, degree/certificate, honors, photo, and quote) to share on social media.
All graduation information is sent to your RCCD student email, so check often for updates!
On May 4th, students who are eligible to graduate were emailed detailed information on how to participate in the virtual ceremony. Students will receive an email from Marching Orders with log in information and instructions on how to upload a photo and quote.Students will need to log in to Marching Orders and upload all information NO LATER THAN MAY 20th to participate in virtual commencement.
Your graduation participation site is based on your degree or certificate awarded. Moreno Valley and Norco College degree and certificate recipients may not participate at Riverside. Please note that MVC and Norco College are having their own virtual ceremonies.
2020 graduates will also be invited back to participate in the 2021 Commencement! Information will be sent to your RCCD email in 2021. Please continue to monitor your RCCD email if you are interested in returning to walk in 2021!
Caps and Gowns
Regalia is NOT required to participate in the VIRTUAL ceremony. However, if you choose to purchase a cap and gown you may do so online from the Riverside City College Bookstore. Online ordering details will be added to bookstore site soon. All regalia will be shipped directly to your home.
Your diploma/certificate will be mailed to you. Please note that we are unable to print diplomas/certificates until we are permitted to physically be on campus. Once they are printed, we will mail them to you. Transcripts with degree information can be ordered as soon as your degree/certificate is awarded to your student record.
