Dr. Dariush Haghighat
ush Haghighat (Ph.D., University of California at Riverside) has taught Political Science first as Part time at UC Riverside, Cal State Fullerton, Fullerton College, Mt San Antonio College and then as a Full time Faculty member since 1988 at the Riverside Community College District. Since 1992 has served as the Chairperson of the Economics, Geography and Political Science department at Riverside City College and the District Political Science Discipline Coordinator. On 2008 was elected as the district wide President for the Riverside Community College Faculty Association and was reelected to that position four additional terms.
Was awarded the rank of Full Professorship on March 2010. Serves as the Advisor for the renowned Riverside Community College District Model United Nations.

Dr. Mark Sellick
Mark Sellick (Ph.D., University of California, Irvine) has taught political science at RCC since 2006. He teaches courses in American Politics, Law and Politics, and Political Theory. Prior to coming to RCC, he taught a variety of classes in political and social theory at the University of California, Irvine, San Diego State University and Chapman University. His focus is political theory and his dissertation work examined the nature of the relationship between cognitive, social and interaction structures in the development of political cognition.
