COVID-19 Update

At the direction of the Riverside County Health Office, the Riverside City College campus is closed until further notice. Due to the nature of the cosmetology discipline, courses cannot be offered online. Students enrolled in sections COS-60A-40488, COS-60A-42020, COS-60B-42021, COS-60C-42031, and COS-60D-40493 will automatically be given an Excused Withdrawal (EW) and receive a tuition refund. Any hours earned before the closure will count toward state licensure requirements, though students will need to retake the course. Information about EWs can be found on the RCC COVID-19 page.

Enabling students to continue their educational journey during this pandemic is a top priority and we are dedicated to continuing to provide support during these difficult times. Students are encouraged to visit the virtual CTE Engagement Center to join our open office hours or make an individual appointment with an educational advisor. To receive academic and career counseling, students should visit the RCC Counseling website.
