Foster & Kinship Care Education

Foster and Kinship Care Education LogoThe Foster & Kinship Care Education Program (FKCE) provides the California State and Riverside County mandated continuing education classes for licensed foster parents. Kinship providers, although not required to attend training, are strongly encouraged to do so. Other professionals working with children (childcare providers, teachers, counselors, social workers) as well as all parents are also welcome to attend workshops.

Classes are applicable for all "D" rated Los Angeles County licensed homes. Trainings cover a wide variety of topics and are free of charge to participants. Workshops are held mornings and evenings in various locations throughout Riverside County, in both English and Spanish.

To view our complete schedule of classes, click on our brochure link below. If you would like a brochure to be mailed to you, please contact us and we will send you one immediately!

To register for a workshop: you may call 951.222.8198, email: fkce@rcc.edu, or submit the online registration form below.

Please note that children are not permitted to attend our workshops due to the sensitive nature of the topics that are offered. Please call us with any questions.
