The success of the Riverside Community College District Foundation is rooted in the beloved role of the college in the lives of residents of the community and the region. Thirty years have seen assets grow from $8,500 to more than $ 4 million with programs, scholarships, and service to support college activities expanding at every turn. Each year, the Riverside Community College Foundation distributes more than $300,000 to deserving students.
The Foundation's success stories include:
$1 million in endowed scholarships
$1.5 million Passport to College program, a nationally recognized early outreach scholarship model
Assistance with land acquisitions for both the Evans Sports Complex and the Moreno Valley College
Expansion of the Early Childhood Studies program
The School of Dental Hygiene campaign to underwrite a new facility and program to meet a serious and growing shortage regionwide
$450,000 Alumni House campaign to provide a permanent home at RCC for alumni activities, events, and future work to support the college
