Tenisha James
Student Support Services Program Director
  
Mrs. James started her career in higher education as an Upward Bound Manager in 2007 at Compton College. She transitioned to Riverside City College in 2011 when the Student Support Services (SSS) grant was awarded to the college. As the Director of the TRIO SSS Programs she is passionate about assisting under-served students in finding success at the college level by helping to remove institutional barriers. Tenisha received her bachelor’s degree in Psychology and Social Behavior from the University of California Irvine, her masters in Educational Counseling at California State University Dominguez Hills, and is currently pursuing her doctorate degree in Educational Leadership, Administration, and Policy from Pepperdine University.

Liem Nguyen
Student Support Services Grant Administrative Specialist
 
Liem Nguyen is a Grants Administrative Specialist for the Riverside City College TRIO Student Support Services Program. He previously worked as an Office Assistant in the EOPS Program at Riverside City College  over six years. Liem earned his A.S. degrees in Mathematics and Humanities from Riverside City College and his B.S. degree in Mathematics from California State University, San Bernardino. He is just finished his M.A. degree in Mathematics in December 2016 at California State University, San Bernardino.

Dr. Michelle Williams
Student Support Services Associate Faculty/Counselor
 
As the TRIO-SSS Counselor, Dr. Williams is passionate in helping students to transform their lives through education.   Dr. Williams received her A.A. in Liberal Studies from Mt. San Antonio College and then her B.S. in Human Services with a specialization in Mental Health from California State University, Fullerton.  After, she went on to earn her M.S. degree in Counseling Psychology from the University of La Verne. She then continued on to earn her Ed. D degree in Counseling Psychology from Argosy University.  For the past 16 years, Dr. Williams has held many positions in the Community College setting, but has truly found her passion in Student Support Services.

Cecilia Lusk
Student Support Services Resource Specialist
 
Mrs. Lusk is a Student Resource Specialist for the SSS Trio Program. Prior to Riverside City College she worked as a Career Coordinator for the PASS GO Program at CSUSB and as a Coordinator for the GEAR UP Program at UCR. Cecilia received my B.A. in Sociology from the University of California, Riverside and her M.S. in Counseling and Guidance from the California State University, San Bernardino.

Dulce Alejandro
Student Support Services Resource Specialist
 
Dulce Alejandro is passionate and committed about serving historically underserved students. Dulce received her B.A in Liberal Studies and a double minor in Chican@/Latin@ Studies and English from California Polytechnic University, Pomona. She then pursued her Masters of Science in Higher Education at California State University, Fullerton. She worked as an Academic and Scholarship Int. Assistant at CSUF in the office of Fraternity and Sorority Life. She also worked in the Multicultural Services in the University of La Verne, and was the Peer Mentor Supervisor at Cal Poly Pomona for Renaissance Scholars.

Botra Ra Moeung
Student Support Services Counselor
 
Botra Ra Moeung is an Associate Faculty Counselor for the Riverside City College TRIO Student Support Services Program. As an alumnus of RCC, Botra is committed to the enhancement of student's academic quality and achievement. He has worked within various areas of Student Support Services since 2009. Botra earned his A.S. degree in Math and Science from RCC, B.S. degree in Environmental Science from UCR, M.S. degree in Counseling Psychology from CBU, and is currently pursuing his doctoral degree in Educational Psychology- Student's Life and Counseling from LSU.
