





PDC/CFD provides staff and faculty professional development opportunties including, but not limited to, technology, cultural diversity and sensitivity, instruction, and student support services.
The PDC/CFD is designed to renew faculty and staff learning and to help institutionalize long term initiatives in and outside of the classroom. The PDC/CFD provides organization, leadership, and support for faculty and staff in areas research has shown to be promising for improving student learning and success. Community college faculty and staff may develop expertise; utilize resources and technical expertise to develop and fine tune curriculum, and teaching methodologies, including alternative student learning strategies.

Through MVC's Title V Coop Grant, the PDC/CFD coordinates and provides resources for faculty and/or staff led initiatives in the areas of counseling, student services, supplemental instruction, articulation, technology, tutoring, alternative teaching strategies, curriculum development, and professional development.
