Moreno Valley Campus is a designated Hispanic Serving Institution (HSI) eligible for specific grants serving traditionally underrepresented student populations. MVC currently has three federally-funded HSI grants.
Our Mission is to address the diversity of our students, their academic preparation, and their learning through institutional change.
HSI/Title V grants provide MVC with opportunities to develop, implement, and evaluate alternative teaching and support services aimed at promoting student success. Grounded in the analysis of student outcomes, Grants & College Support Programs collaborate with faculty, staff and MVC leadership to institutionalize strategies which foster positive outcomes.
Institutional change at MVC involves creating and sustaining a culture of research, assessment, evaluation, training, and pedagogical revisions such that they are interwoven into the fabric of the institution.
