Admission Requirements

RCC Center for International Students and Programs has a full-time staff to assist students with admissions, registration, advising on academic and career goals, immigration, and transfer to universities to complete bachelor's degrees. A TOEFL iBT score of 45 or higher is required for students to benefit from instruction at the college level.

Students on an F-1 Visa must present evidence of financial resources to meet all costs for tuition, books, insurance, and personal living expenses. International students must be at least 18 years of age unless they are graduates of a U.S. high school. Health and accident insurance is required and must be purchased through the college.

Applications should be submitted as early as possible. The RCC Center for International Students and Programs is located on the Riverside Campus, but students may also take classes on the Moreno Valley and Norco campuses.

 

International Application Required Documents:

• Check or Money Order for US $50.00 payable to: Riverside Community College District, for application processing fee.
• Completed International Student Application, submitted online at www.rcc.edu/international.
• Completed Financial Certification Form, with signature from the sponsor.
• Recent, original Bank Statement (covering the last four months) verifying financial status of the sponsor. A minimum of US $17,500 must be available for one year of expenses. More financial documents may be requested if needed.
• Two (2) passport-size photographs.
• Official TOEFL score report (45 minimum internet-based test or 450 minimum paper-based test) or official IELTS score report (4.5 or higher). RCC school code for TOEFL report: 4658.
• High school and/or college transcripts (if attended college) with certified English translation.
• For students or applicants in the U.S.: Copies of passport page including expiration date and photograph, Visa page, I-94 card (front and back) and I-20(s) (pages 1 & 3) from previous school(s), if applicable.

*The International Center accepts applications beyond the deadline date, however we encourage all applicants to apply by the deadline to ensure that application processing is done in a timely manner, from application submission to receipt of admission packet and I-20 form.
