Can I get health insurance through the college?
As a registered student, limited insurance is available against accidental injury occurring in class or while participating in a college sponsored event. This is a secondary insurance and a deductible applies. It is the student's responsibility to file a claim promptly and to submit all bills to STUDENT INSURANCE. Late filing may result in no coverage. All accidents should be reported immediately to the instructor and the health center. All students are encouraged to carry their own health insurance. The college does not provide medical insurance. The health services office has brochures on a variety of medical short term insurance policies. Please stop by and pick up the brochures.

The health fee is waived for students who rely solely on prayer for healing (letter form certified clergy required), and designated apprenticeship programs. However, charges for medications, immunizations and in-office lab tests apply.
