TRANSFER CENTER RESOURCES

The Transfer Centers throughout RCCD provide many services, resources, programs, and information to students who are interested in transferring to baccalaureate-level institutions including:

1. Information on transfer requirements and major preparation
2. Campus Tours
3. Library of catalogs from Cal State University (CSU), University of California (UC), private and out-or-state universities
4. Financial aid and scholarship information
5. Computer access to utilize Internet Resources, applications, and to view college/university information online
6. Transfer Workshops - Help with your UC/CSU Application, your personal statement essay, the student-athlete and transfer, what you need to know about financial aid and transfer, steps to becoming a teacher, and a variety of others throughout the year
7. Articulation with baccalaureate-level institution
8. Fall and spring transfer days and spring transfer night
9. Transfer recognition ceremony

COUNSELING

RCCD counselors are available to meet with students at the three campuses and work hand in hand with the Transfer Center to ensure that students are receiving up-to-date and accurate information. It is highly recommended that you meet with a counselor in your first semester in college to develop your student educational plan (SEP).

CAREER EXPLORATION PROGRAMS

CHOICES: Interactive computer software that gives college students a chance to see into the future and recognize the importance of their personal and academic decisions.

EUREKA: This website provides a wealth of career information as well as detailed information about colleges and universities in the United States and abroad. A site ID code is required for access to this program - contact one of the RCCD's Transfer Centers to obtain your code, or visit the center to utilize the CD version.
