TRANSFER CENTER EVENTS
The Transfer Centers host a variety of educational workshops and seminars throughout the year to assist students in acquiring useful transfer information. Common topics covered include:
- How to apply online to CSU/UC Campuses
- Financial Aid and scholarship opportunities
- Writing a personal statement
- Steps to becoming a better teacher
- The athlete and transfer
- Transfer resources awareness
- Steps to your transfer success
Visit any of the three Transfer Centers to learn about upcoming transfer workshops. Take advantage of the opportunities available which will assist you in attaining your transfer goal.
The Transfer Centers sponsor a number of Transfer Fairs throughout the year which allow RCCD students to meet with representatives from various four-year colleges/universities:
- Fall Transfer Fair
- Spring Transfer Fair
- Spring Transfer Night

Riverside Community College District faculty and staff take great pride when their students achieve their transfer goal. It is important to the faculty and staff to recognize students for their hard work and dedication to their goal of transfer while studying at RCCD. To honor those students who meet their goal, every spring semester prior to graduation the Transfer Center hosts a reception. Contact the center for more information.
The Transfer Center organizes some visits to four-year universities throughout the year. Through campus visits students become more familiar with the campuses, programs, and services, thus allowing them to make a sound decision when choosing the university to attend after RCCD. Please contact the transfer center to inquire about currently scheduled campus tours.
