The Center is available to guide and direct students to career and vocational fields that best "fit" or match their interests, aptitudes and goals. The Center provides opportunities for extensive career exploration and evaluation of interests, aptitudes, skills and other characteristics related to vocational and pre-professional planning and job success. This includes:

CHOICES: Is an education and career planning software designed to help students build meaningful plans using validated assessments and comprehensive databases of occupation, post-secondary school and program information.
EUREKA: Is an extremely powerful, user-friendly career exploration computer software program. Students can navigate through our "Eureka Career Guidance" software to research career/vocational data regarding salaries, employment projections/job outlook, job descriptions/assigned responsibilities, required educational background/training and comparable employment fields.
The CareerFest is offered during the Spring Semester. Career & Technical Education Programs and Community professionals provide information on preparation, job requirements, and outlook in various career areas. CAREER WORKSHOPS/CAREER INSIGHT FORUMS/WORKSHOPS (CIF)
This tool will help you to research different options in your major field of study and give you an overview of the path that you have chosen. It is an insightful workshop that will open your eyes to the abundance of information in your chosen career path. You will be able to speak with experts in your career field and see them in action! RCC's Transfer/Career Center will have a captive audience of students and staff members interested in visiting different faciliies to determine an academic major and career goal. During this tour members from different organizations will discuss an overview of the skills and requirements that one will need to be successful. In the Fall semester of 2009, the Transfer/Career Center and students visited Body World Exhibit, Perris High School, Care Connexxus, Black Voice Foundation, Magnum Riverside Range, Riverside Justice Center, People Choce Staffing, Riverside Detention Center (Rober Presley) just to name a few. These tours of our Career & Technical Education & their facilities are offered during the Spring Semester. These tours give you an opportunity to see our programs first hand. We will visit the (Ben Clark Training Center, March Education Center, March Dental Education Center, Riverside, Norco, and Moreno Valley College).
