California Community Colleges do not offer athletic scholarships. However, student-athletes are - as are all students - able to apply for financial aid. For more information on the types of financial aid available for Riverside Community College District students, please contact the Financial Aid office at 951-222-8709.
As an athlete you will be able to compete for the Tigers in intercollegiate athletics, if you meet the following conditions:
You are an amateur athlete in the sport you will compete and you are a first time participant in intercollegiate athletics at any college. For students transferring from other universities and community colleges it is suggested that you contact the coach for your sport as soon as possible as you must meet COA transfer rules.
California Community College athletes are expected to be enrolled in no fewer than 12 units at all times as well as hold a 2.0 GPA. To be eligible for a second-season of sport, student-athletes must have completed 24 units between seasons.
