Academic Renewal allows previously recorded substandard (D,F,NC,NP, FW) coursework taken at a college of RCCD to be disregarded in the computation of RCCD grade point average. Conditions apply. Submit the completed form to the Admissions & Records office or mail the form to the Admissions & Records office along with a legible copy of a valid photo ID.
APPROVAL FOR OVERLAPPING CLASSES
The college may permit enrollment in overlapping classes if certain requirements are met. Completed form should be submitted to Admissions during add period where the college course is overlapping.
CHANGE OF INFORMATION
Students can update their address, program of study, educational goal, and more on WebAdvisor. If you cannot update your information on WebAdvisor download the Change of Information form. If you are unable to bring the form to the Admissions & Records office, sign and mail the form along with a legible copy of a valid photo ID.
This form is for students who have received a letter from the RCCD Accounting Services Manager regarding outstanding fees and are filing an appeal. Completed forms and documentation should be mailed to the Admissions & Records office of the student’s home college.
COURSE GRADE VERIFICATION
Students enrolled in a course who are seeking to re-enroll in the same course the next term must get verification from the instructor that they will not receive a passing grade in order to be eligible to register now for the same course next term. Submit the completed form to the Admissions & Records office at the student’s home college.
Students may repeat both Non-Repeatable and Repeatable courses according to administrative policy and procedures. When course repetition occurs the permanent academic records will be annotated in such a manner that all work remains legible ensuring and true and complete academic history.
CREDIT BY EXAM
Credit may be granted to any student who satisfactorily passes an examination approved or conducted by the discipline or program in which a comparable course is offered. Not applicable for foreign language courses.
CREDIT BY EXAM FOR WORLD LANGUAGES
Credit may be granted to any student who completes a higher level language course in order to receive credit for a lower level language course.
Eligible undergraduate students enrolled at any California community college may enroll at a CSU or UC campus without formal admission to take a maximum of one course per academic term on a space available basis for a $10 or more administrative fee. Submit completed form to Admissions & Records at the student's home college.
DUPLICATE DIPLOMA/CERTIFICATE REQUEST
For a duplicate diploma/certificate, print out the request form and pay at Student Accounts. Requests will be ordered with the next regular order of diplomas and certificates. It may take up to 6 months to receive the duplicate. Cost is $2.00 each. You may also mail the request form to Student Accounts with a check payable to RCCD.
ENROLL MENT VERIFICATION REQUEST
Enrollment verifications are used to verify enrollment status, GPA, unit load and fee/payment information. The first two enrollment verifications are free. There is a fee for each additional enrollment verification requested. For instructions on how to complete this form read the Enrollment Verification page.
NON-RESIDENT TUITION EXEMPTION REQUEST (AB 540 & AB 2000 FORM)
Any student, other than a nonimmigrant alien, who meets all of the following requirements listed under "California Non-Resident Tuition Exemption - AB 540" on the Residency Information page shall be exempt from paying nonresident tuition. The completed form must be submitted to Admissions & Records for processing.
NON-RESIDENT TUITION EXEMPTION REQUEST (SB 141 FORM)
Students who are U.S. citizens and who may presently reside in a foreign country will be exempt from nonresident tuition if they meet the requirements listed under "California Non-Resident Tuition Exemption - SB 141" on the Residency Information page. The completed form must be submitted to Admissions & Records for processing.
SUPPLEMENTAL RESIDENCY QUESTIONNAIRE
Students classified as non-residents that wish to change their residency status or students that feel they have been classified as non-residents in error can apply for re- classification by completing the Supplemental Residency Questionnaire Form.
