What is the Student Senate?

They are a legislative branch of Student Government. They have the power to:

• Enact legislation
• Propose amendments
• Initiate programs and activities
• Help plan and attend an annual Student Government retreat: past retreats have been at Laguna Beach, Sacramento, Disney Land, Magic Mountain, Big Bear, Arrowhead...etc.
• Most important they help develop and plan the student budget.

How can YOU become a Senator?

• Run and become elected in one of our student body elections
• Get appointed by the current ASRCC President
• Call Student Activities at 951-222-8570
• Come to our meetings on Wednesday's at 12:40 pm in the Heritage Room of the Bradshaw Building (behind the Cafeteria)
