Passport to College is an innovative business, education, community, and family partnership to increase the region's college going rate by making a college education possible for high school graduates in the class of 2004. The program targeted the 11,500 students in the Alvord, Corona/Norco, Jurupa, Moreno Valley, Riverside, and Val Verde School districts and encouraged them through a combination of guaranteed scholarship assistance for two years, field trips, presentations on the skills required for tomorrow's workplace, and classroom–based curriculum and parent support.
