Alumni Brick Campaign
Order a brick online or by mail
Since opening in December 1999, the Riverside Community College Alumni House has served as a gathering place for alumni, the community, and college faculty and staff. Located at 3654 Ramona Drive across from the RCC Riverside campus, the house borders the historic Wood Street neighborhood. The purchase of the home was made possible through the efforts of the RCC Foundation, which last year successfully completed a fundraising campaign to reimburse the College for the purchase. We are grateful to the hundreds of enthusiastic alumni and friends who helped to support this important acquisition.
In making the transition from a family residence to an alumni house, the College and Foundation were careful to preserve and protect the building's heritage. Visitors to the RCC Alumni House often comment on the stately rooms and staircases adorned with fine red gum and Philippine mahogany woods, the stunning alabaster chandelier above the main staircase, and the beautiful Art Pick Gardens that border the house on two sides.
As awareness of the RCC Alumni House grows in the local communities, the RCC Foundation Board of Directors is embarking on an inspired enhancement of the garden's brick patio. We invite you today to participate in their important project that will help ensure future support for the RCC Alumni House, the Alumni Association, and student scholarships.
The creation of a new Alumni Brick Courtyard serves a dual purpose. First it will create a beautiful focal point in the garden, suitable for small, intimate receptions or larger gatherings. And second, it will offer visual testaments to RCC Alumni and their support of the College.
Purchasing an Alumni Brick allows you to commemorate your own time at RCC, honor a friend or a loved one or celebrate an important milestone in your life. When the courtyard is finished it will contain 3,000 alumni bricks, each carefully set and preserved to last for decades.
We invite you to be a part of this very special legacy at the RCC Alumni House. Just complete the online form (Flash required) or print this form and return it today.
With your support we can lay the foundation for a new tradition . . . one brick at a time.
