Training
These are state and federally mandated courses for public employees. It is required that public employees have a level of training appropriate to their role and responsibilities with a minimum requirement being these courses.
This course can be taken On-line or in a Face-To-Face Course format. The Instructions for taking the on-line course can be found below. Dates and locations for the Face-To-Face Courses offered by RCCD's Emergency Planning and Preparedness Coordinator can be found under the RCCD Trainings listed below (Disaster Preparedness with SEMS, NIMS & ICS).
Combined Course which includes the mandated:
- Standardized Emergency Management System (SEMS)
- IS 100 - Introduction to Incident Command System (ICS)
- IS 700 - Introduction to the National Incident Management System (NIMS)
