





Applying to the Program
Enrollment Preferences
Prioritized preference for enrollment is given in accordance with the Riverside Community College District Board Policy 5055.
Advanced Standing
There is no advanced placement into the program.
Waiting List
A waiting list is not maintained.
Withdrawal Policy
Withdrawal from the Program is a permanent step taken by the student who no longer wishes to be a part of the Physician Assistant Program. A student may voluntarily withdraw from the program at any time after advising the Program Director of such in writing. In a written statement requesting withdrawal, the student should describe the circumstances necessitating the withdrawal. This letter will be placed in the student’s file.
There is no tuition or lab fee refund available from the Program. Any student who withdraws voluntarily from the Program will not be guaranteed re-entry. If re-entry is desired, the student must apply for a position in a subsequent entering class, honoring all obligations and deadlines of the application process.
Student Work Policies
The Physician Assistant Program is a 2-year, full time program. It is highly recommended that students do not work during their program. Classes are subject to change due to the availability of lecturers. The program does not take into consideration student work schedules. Attendance is mandatory for all courses.
