Program Information

The Riverside County Regional Medical Center/Riverside Community College Physician Assistant Program:

• is committed to primary care physician assistant education;
• is committed to diversity in the selection of students, faculty and curriculum;
• emphasizes service to the medically underserved urban and rural areas of the Inland Empire; and
• promotes the physician assistant profession, and strives to produce quality primary care providers

The Program requires 24 consecutive months:

Didactic coursework:
• Applied Clinical Skills I, II, III
• Medical Science I, II, III
• History and Physical Assessment
• Medical Pharmacology
• Clinical Nutrition

Clinical Phase rotations:

• Internal Medicine I, II
• Surgery I
• Orthopedics
• Pediatrics
• OB/Gyn
• Family Practice
• Psychiatry
• Emergency Medicine

Upon successful completion of all coursework, a certificate will be awarded. 

(Associate degree option requires additional coursework)
