vocational nursing
The Vocational Nursing Program requires 12 months of full-time study or 24 months part-time. Upon completion of the 51 unit program, the graduate is eligible to take the National Council Licensure Examination (NCLEX-PN) for licensure as a Vocational Nurse in the state of California. Graduates are also eligible to apply for Advanced Placement into the A.D.N Program. The approximate cost of the VN program is $2,500. This cost covers tuition, books, uniform, parking/student fees etc., but does not cover the prerequisite costs.
Requirements
- RCC application on file and eligibility to attend RCC
- Official transcripts of all colleges attended on file in Counseling
- High School Verification or equivalent (G.E.D., High School Proficiency Exam, Associate degree, Bachelor's degree)
- RCC and Cumulative College GPA of at least 2.0.

- Nursing 50 (Introductory Vocational Nursing Foundations) only available at RCC, Riverside Campus
