sign language interpreting
The Sign Language Interpreting program is an excellent program for students who are interested in learning or would like to increase their proficience in American Sign Language into a career in interpreting. The pgoram of student is designed to build the student's proficience in American Sign Language to a level that enables the student to use their knowledge confidently and professionally. Students are also required to learn the ethics and professional standards of intepreating as well as an overview of American deaf culture and the important issues that it entails. Students will be awarded the Associate in Science degree upon completion of the program.
