FORD ASSET PROGRAM
The Ford Asset Program is a two-year college program leading to an Associate in Science Degree in Automotie Technology-Ford Specialty. The program is a joint effort of Riverside Community College, Ford Motor Company, and area Ford, Lincoln-Mercury and Mazda dealers. Students will participate in 9 to 12 weeks of classroom instruction, alternated with an additional 9 weeks of full-time paid work experience at a sponsoring Ford, Lincoln-Mercury or Mazda dealership. The system allows students to become familiar with the dealership environment, while applying and reinforcing the on-campus learning.

The GM ASEP program is a two-year college program leading to an Associate in Science Degree in Automotive Technology-GM Specialty. The program is a joint effort of Riverside Community College, General Motors Corporation and area GM dealers. Students will participate in 9 weeks of classroom instruction, alternated with an additional 9 weeks of full-time paid work experience at a sponsoring GM dealership. The system allows students to become familiar with the dealership environment, while applying and reinforcing the on-campus learning.
