Dr. Tutor graduated with an Associate Degree in Nursing from Riverside Community College in 1981.  She received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Psychology from the University of California, Riverside, and a Master of Science Degree in Nursing from California State University Dominguez Hills. She completed her doctorate in education from the University of Southern California in 2006.

Her clinical background is primarily adult critical care with a focus in surgical/trauma ICU and as an Emergency Department trauma nurse.

Dr. Tutor is currently serving as teh Student Outcomes Specialist (SOS) and HRSA Grant Coordinator for the School of Nursing Programs.
