Nursing 3: Intermediate Medical-Surgical Nursing

 

Sharon recently joined the faculty as a full time Nursing 3 instructor. She worked as adjunct faculty for over three years. Sharon, like many RCC Nursing faculty, graduated from RCC’s nursing program, and has been a nurse for over 26 years. Most of her nursing career has been in the acute care setting, working in medical/surgical, intensive care and cardiology departments. She has also worked in hospital staff education. Sharon still loves nursing and is excited to share this with nursing students.

 

Sharon has been married 22 years and have two active teenage sons. Her family keeps her young and busy. She has always lived in Riverside but loves to travel. Her hobbies have been on hold for the last several years due to returning to school, but she hopes to resume many of them soon.
