Test for Essential Academic Skills (TEAS) Policies and Procedures
Due to the ongoing budget crisis in California RCC cannot offer the TEAS test to all eligible applicants. Only applicants with the highest science GPAs will be invited to take the TEAS at RCC. If you are not invited to take the TEAS at RCC, you may contact other Nursing schools to see if you can take the TEAS with them and then send your TEAS results to RCC. ATI Testing has stated that Southwestern College (619-482-6382) and Barstow Community College (760-252-2411 x7617) have agreed to test students from other colleges. Go to www.atitesting.com, click “Register for TEAS”, choose TEAS and then choose a state/city to find other TEAS sites. A passing TEAS score of 62 is required to be eligible for the RCC ADN Program.
