Riverside City College Spring Session Blood Drive 9:00 AM - 2:00 PM North East corner outside the Quad
The Associated Students of Riverside City College requests your participation in their Spring Blood Drive. Once again ASRCC brings their college students, staff, and faculty the opportunity for a growing experience. The Blood Drive will be a 5 hour event collecting donations of blood from all who wish to donate. The Blood Drive Mobiles will be located on the north east corner outside the Quad, Wednesday, April 29, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. When donating blood, you will be putting on reserve a pint of blood in your name. This blood can be requested by you at any time to be used by you or someone you know that is in need of it. The ASRCC challenges you to participate and be a part of this life saving event. If you are not a able to donate, come help out at the canteen or sign in table. How does it work? You will sign in and complete a health questionnaire, have a confidential interview with a nurse, be given a mini-physical and then donate. After donating, you are invited to enjoy refreshments at the Blood Bank Canteen. The whole process takes about an hour. SPECIAL THANKS Of course there is a special reward for your support. At the canteen, after you donate, the Blood Bank is sponsoring free snacks to all of those who participate in this event. Teachers, please announce to students about donating, try to donate, or helping out the day of the drive. That would be a great incentive for students to participate. For more information call Doug Graham in Student Activities at (951) 222-8576.
